Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup lettuce, shredded
- 1/2 cup tomato, sliced
- 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
- 4 pickle slices
- 4 tbsp mayonnaise
- 4 tbsp ketchup
- 4 tbsp mustard
Instructions:
Warm up the grill or pan on the stove to medium-high heat
Make 4 patties out of the ground beef that are all the same size
Add pepper and salt
Put the patties on the grill or pan and cook them for four to five minutes on each side for medium-rare burgers or longer if you like them more done
Cover and add a slice of cheddar cheese to top of each patty in the last minute of cooking
This will melt the cheese
You can grill or toast the hamburger buns until they are lightly browned
On the bottom half of each bun, spread mayonnaise
Then, add ketchup and mustard
On each bottom bun half, put a cooked patty
Put lettuce, tomato slices, red onion, and pickles on top of the patties
Add the top bun halves to finish putting the burgers together
Serve your Huge Cheeseburger right away and enjoy it!
